FoundTraxx
FoundTraxx is a project with the über talented and perennially curlied Jeremy Roth. Simply put, we improvise jams over films/ videos (usually edited), trying to match the image with a musical/emotional narrative, "finding the soundtrack" (or at least attempting to).
FoundTraxx :: A Celebration of David Lynch
Based on a terrific short doc of David talking about transcendental meditation that Jeremy found, I did a supercut of his films, which we overlaid on the interview and then responded to live, in the moment as it were. Every performance was quite different—our a little thank you to David for his inspiring body of work.
